People ask me this a lot so I figured I'd just make a FAQ page. My terms of use are fairly loose. Basically my artwork can be used for anything except commercial purposes. "Anything" includes stationary, webpage templates, tubes, signature tags, backgrounds, frames, etc. As for credit, just a "yenbui.com" would be fine. Any commissioned work, art that I've drawn for other people, may not be used in any way whatsoever, except for by their owners.

Can I use Nene's images on my site, make Sigs, Tags, Tubes, Web-sets (etc) or download them?

First, her images may NOT be used on any pay site.
Second, any of Nene's work that is displayed MUST be clearly labeled as "© Nene Thomas", and a link to www.nenethomas.com must be included with the image.
Third, you MAY feather, mask, crop, add your name, sparkles, glitter, glows, slight animation, etc. However, you may under NO circumstances, alter her artwork SIGNIFICANTLY in any way.
Fourth, Nene's artwork can NOT be combined with another artist's work.
And last but not least, you may NOT sell Nene's images as avatars, websets, tags, sigs, tubes, shipping labels, etc; etc.

For sigs, websites, graphics, email stationary, and other personal use graphics, as long as you follow these altering guidelines and the terms of use below, you are allowed to use the images on this site.

Only proportional resizing- do not distort the width or height of an artwork unnaturally.
Do not change the original colour of the image
Cropping of background is allowed.
ONLY remove the copyright banner if you replace it on your graphic yourself, or put the credit text line (as described below) also with the graphic whenever you use it.
You can add sparklies, borders or other graphics to the artworks.
The credit line text "© Selina Fenech" MUST APPEAR anywhere the artwork appears, either on the graphic itself, or nearby the graphic ON THE SAME PAGE.
NO images from the archives gallery may be used, no images marked with Exclusive Use may be used.
I also prefer to have a link back to my website on all web use of my work, although this is not mandatory (EG, for sites with content restrictions).
I allow use of my artwork for websets, etc as long as it is NON PROFIT (ie, you are not selling the sets) and you follow the rules above. Please also make it clear to people using your sets they must also display credit to me as the artist.

You can use the images. All I ask is that you give me credit and make a link back to my website. Thank you for asking!

I allow use of my work on non-commercial websites with the condition that each image is properly credited with the correct title and my name or banner linked back to my site. If you can meet these conditions then you may use my work in the manner you requested.

You can use our artwork for the creation of non-profit stationery if you provide the name credit and clickable link within the body of the stationery so that anyone sending or receiving it will be able to see that James is the original artist and will be able to visit his web site by way of the link.

1) Supply a written credit to Jessica as the artist on each page that an image is used... Artwork © Jessica Galbreth.
2) Provide a clickable link below the name credit to Jessica that directly links to us at: www.enchanted-art.com (Note! A link on your separate links page only is not sufficient). Although a text link back to us is fine.

Although the images on my web site are protected by copyright please feel free to use them in a non-commercial way (not for financial gain). I know a lot of people like to make up web sets, buttons and backgrounds. All I ask is that you credit the work to me and if possible put a link to my web site on your pages (please try to avoid linking directly to the pictures on my site as this uses up a lot of bandwidth).

Yes, if it is a non-profit page, and if you follow a few simple requests I have:

Please please PLEASE read the image descriptions, and if it says the image is copyrighted to a third party, you cannot use that art without contacting the copyright holder. Do not ask me about these images, or about how to contact the copyright holder. You can either follow the links I have, or look them up on the internet yourself.
Don't make any modifications to the image other than proportional resizing. Read that line again. PROPORTIONAL! Sorry, but so many people don't seem to understand that, no matter now many times I say it, and seeing my art squished into all kinds of odd sizes is terribly disturbing. So if you use the art, don't squish it so it's fat or skinny or whatever. It's meant to be a certain size. Keep it that way.
Don't link directly to the images on my site. This takes my bandwidth and slows it down for viewers on your site as well. Instead, right click and copy to your hard drive and upload it to your own server.
You must have a "©Stephanie Pui-Mun Law" on any page you display my art. UNLESS the image description on Shadowscapes indicates there is a copyright to a third party involved. In which case, please respect their copyrights and indicate such, along with an "art by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law" in your credits.

I receive many e-mails inquiring about the use of my art for Paint Shop Pro users and I have come to see what a large community it is. Sure you can, as long as it's for non-commercial purposes.
However there are some rules :o)

1. You have to contact me first!
2. My (c) Antje Darling has to be on the image if my orignial signiture
is not clearly visible on your sig/tag/stationary.
3. You will have to add a link back to my website.
4. I will have to be able to see your creation :o)
If you won't allow me to see what you do with my artwork, then I can't allow you to use it.
I think that's only fair. :o)
Can I make tubes or brushes from your artwork?
No. Please don't even ask me anymore. The answer will always be a "No".
